At Live Strong House, we adapt to meet our students’ expectations. With our unique living environment, we can individualize treatment plans dependent on student goals, desires, and clinical needs.

Age Range

We specialize in adolescents 15-18 years old, and young adults 18 -22

Length of Stay

The average length of stay at Live Strong House is 9-12 months, minimum

The Right Fit

Students that excel in our program typically struggle with one or more of the following:

  • Difficulty in traditional school settings
  • Processing speed concerns
  • Executive functioning
  • Mild substance abuse
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Post-traumatic stress that has negatively impacted self-perception and the world around him.
  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Social settings
  • Lack of self-esteem and confidence
  • Being unnoticed in larger school and social settings

 

Not the Right Fit

Live Strong House students are known to be kind and to show concern for others. They generally respect authority figures. We are not the right fit for students that struggle with one or more of the following

 

  • Criminal histories
  • Assaultive behaviors or a disposition toward aggression
  • Conduct disorder
  • History of sexual assault
  • Serious gang involvement
  • Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD)
  • Detox
  • Emerging personality disorders or traits

  • Treatment resistant depression

  • Suicide attempts (multiple attempts and continued area of concern)
